Since 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has brought hope, joy, and the spirit of Christmas to millions of children across our nation. Here in Fort Bend County, we are proud to continue that tradition by serving children and families throughout our local community.
I have been involved with Toys for Tots for approximately 25 years and have been humbled and honored to serve as the Fort Bend County Coordinator for nearly 20 years. This mission has become a very personal part of my life, and I remain deeply grateful for every person and organization that helps us continue it.
In 2025, our Fort Bend County campaign distributed 23,722 toys to 7,316 children. These numbers represent more than toys—they represent children who experienced the joy of Christmas and parents who were given hope during a difficult time.
Our work also extends beyond the Christmas season. Throughout the year, we provide assistance to houses of worship, law enforcement agencies needing comfort toys for children in crisis, hospitals and healthcare providers, back-to-school initiatives, and qualified nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable children and families.
We cannot accomplish any of this alone. We respectfully invite you, your business, organization, employees, family, or friends to support our 2026 campaign in any way you can. Opportunities include:
- Making a financial contribution directly to our local campaign
- Donating new, unwrapped toys
- Sponsoring, entering, or providing prizes for our annual bowling tournament
- Sponsoring a team of first responders, teachers, veterans, or community volunteers
- Hosting an official Toys for Tots collection box
- Volunteering during sorting week, December 14–18
- Volunteering on Distribution Day, December 19
- Donating food, snacks, beverages, supplies, transportation, storage, or professional services
- Promoting our campaign through advertising, social media, newsletters, or community outreach
- Encouraging employees, customers, students, or organization members to participate
No contribution of time, resources, or financial support is too small. Every act of kindness moves us closer to ensuring that no child in Fort Bend County is forgotten at Christmas.
We are especially grateful for the leadership and generosity of our valued sponsors and community partners, including:
- Amazon
- American Furniture Warehouse – Katy
- Frito-Lay Rosenberg
- First Colony Church of Christ
- Fort Bend County Adult Probation Department
- Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Division
- Constable Chad Norvell – Fort Bend County Constable Precinct 1
- Judge Christian Becerra
- The Molho Group, Inc.
- Sugar Land Rotary Club
- Our schools, houses of worship, first responders, nonprofit organizations, businesses, volunteers, individual donors, and the Fort Bend County community at large
Their generosity and commitment allow us to serve thousands of children and families each year. We sincerely hope you will consider joining them as a partner in this important mission.
